Radio Cuba Canta con Emiliano Echeverria


Radio Cuba Canta begins 2011 with recordings that Emiliano brought back from Cuba on his recent trip.


We'll start the program with recordings mostly from the era of the 1920s, then we'll have the Community Music Calender of Ron Flores 30 minutes into the program. Following the calender will be an hour of newly found classics from the 1940s and 50s. We will then round out the show with a half hour of music of the young Cuba of today.

That will all be on Radio Cuba Canta, This Saturday, January 29 from 9 PM Pacific Time (SF, LA, West Coast, or 12 MIDNIGHT Eastern Time, NYC, MIA, La Havana, Cuba) on KPFA 94,1-FM - San Francisco & Northern California. On the web at www.radiocubacanta.net
