Cronicas De La Raza
17 Feb 2009 - KPFA FM

Tonight we celebrate African-American History Month with Afro-Cuban music. We ride through the Streets of Atzlan and check out the news headlines from the Americas and a guerilla music hoax. We focus on a commentary on Colombia; a special report on Ecuador with independent Journalist, Cyril Mychalejko, about Ecuador's new environmental laws and the struggle of Ecuador's indigenous peoples to protect the environment; and a conversation on Venezuela with San Francisco Consul General, Martin Sanchez. All spiced with Latino music and a calendar of upcoming local events.

Tonight's show produced by Ventura "Mr. Chuch" Longoria, Vanessa Bohm, Carmen Andrea Rivera, Emiliano Echeverria and Nina Serrano.
